This
is a Sable MK 6, or CL-13. It is in 1/72 scale and is painted in the
markings of the Golden Hawks, circa 1963. The Golden Hawks were a
Flight Demostration team.

This
1/48 scale CF-104 Starfighter was assigned to 427 Squadron in 1962. At
that time, 427 was part of the Third Wing, based at
Zweibrucken, West Germany. The starfighter served Canada for more
than 20 years, starting in 1961, and ending in the 1980s when it
was replaced by the CF-18 Hornet.

This is
also an 1/48
scale Starfighter. This plane served with 439 squadron at
Badon-Soellingen, West Germany. It was painted for the "Tiger Meet" of
1983. The Tiger Meet was hosted by 439 Sqn that year, as they stood
down the next November. The RCAF was well known for its participation
in the tiger meets!

This
photo shows the two Starfighters side-by-side for comparison.
The aluminum 427 bird carries the earlier "Red Ensign" , while the
tiger bird has the more modern maple leaf flag.

This
1/48 scale aircraft is the "Electric Voodoo". It is a modified version
of the CF-101 Voodoo. It was used for electronic warfare. It
served with the 414th Electronic Warfare Squadron in North Bay,
ON.

This
is a CF-18 Hornet. It is also known as theCF-118 and the CF-188. It
replaced the CF-104, CF-101 and CF-5 in the early 80's. This particular
example was painted in a special scheme to commemorate the 75th
anniversary of the RCAF, in 1985. The plane is modeled in 1/48 scale
and was assigned to the 410th squadron, at CFB Cold Lake, Alberta.

This is
a 1/48 scale
CT-133 Silverstar, perhaps better known as a T-Bird. It was Canada's
standard jet trainer, starting in 1953. In the year 2000, it was still
on service, though not in a training role.
Canada has the distinction of having the pilot with the most hours on a
T-33, Capt. Turbo Tarling with 7651 hours in the pilot's seat!
This plane, #504, was present at the ceremony where Capt. Tarling
received a plaque to honour his 6000th hour on type, in 1978. The plane
was assigned to Cold Lake Base Flight.
